    As an IT Data Governance Lead must know and understand the core business and technical end to end processes of a certain data domain. It is responsible of ensuring the implementation and adherence of the Data Governance policies, standards and processes. This role involves understanding the data lifecycle management, business requirements, data management practices and data architecture to ensure data quality and trusted data.

    A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

    • Data Governance: Ensure Data Governance policies, standards and guidelines by implementing the data governance procesess and controls and formalizing the data roles and responsibilities according to the defined Operative Model. Work with Data Manager, Data owners and stewards to define and create data standards. Conduct Data Governance and Data Management audits. Create data governance aherence reports and report to Data Manager and Sr. Manager. Ensure Compliance and data ethics.
    • Data Quality: Work in collaboration with data owners and data stewards to define and create da ta quality rules and limits. Understand data sources, data transformations and consumption to ensure trusted data. Establish data quality reports and monitor. Perform data quality assessments and identify data quality issues and drive resolution processes.
    • Data Management: Understand end to end business processes and relate it to the data lifecycle management. Work in collaboration with business and technology to create business glossary and data dictionary and in collaboration with data stewrds and technical data stewards for data mapping. Ensure adherence to data standards and data architecture.
    • Data Security: Perform data security assessments and ensure correct data access to the correct role and data security and data classification policies are in compliance. Audit security controls. Create data security metrics and monitor.
    • Metadata Management: Create and manage core metadata, ensure the business glossary creation, valid data values and rules. Manage data lineage. Ensure Role based access controls.

    Your Recipe for Success

    • Bachelor in computational systems, data science, programming, administration or similar.
    • Master desirable
    • 2 to 5 years of proven experience with data governance or data management roles
    • Strong understanding of data governance practice, CDMP certification or other data governance training desirable.
    • Strong data management knowleadge to provide end to end data guidance and accountability
    • Strong knowleadge of main data regulations (GDPR, Derechos ARCO, etc.)
    • Excelent communication skills English (Written and speaken), other languages desirable.
