HFI has an opening for a
Customs and Logistics Assistant to be located at our
San Luis Potosi office.

Our future employee will have experience in Logistics and/or Finance with the desire to negotiate with external and internal customers.

They must have excellent communication skills and speak English in a professional manner. This is a fast moving envirionment and we are looking for someone that excels in that capacity.


Requirements for the position include:
Cover 2nd shift and weekends (role among team members)

  • Coordinate national collections: monitoring of loading with suppliers and unloading with customers.
  • Coordinate exports:
box trailers and equipment available in plants, monitoring of arrival at the border, and complete customs documentation at border crossing or arrival at HFI EP

  • Coordinate imports:
box trailers and equipment available at HFI EP follow-up to information and complete customs documentation, or border crossing or follow-up of arrival at each floor

  • Coordinate and monitor national routes
  • Negotiation of rates with carriers, service and deliveries on time.
  • Invoicing of carriers: review, registration and monitoring of payments
  • Coordinate the weekly schedule of collections and deliveries with planners, reviewing and accommodating milk routes to reduce costs.
  • Daily review and monitoring meetings with the Logistics team.
