Job Summary:
Responsible for the accounting and financial control of the HVAC and Transport finished goods inventories distributed in Mexico. Obsolete & Slow Movement Inventory Reserve preparation, calculation and projections. Total Physical adjustments W2W and Cycle counts.


Responsabilities:


  • Ensure that the accounting records performed in Oracle R12 module of inventories are correct and timely, and request such supplementary accounting records as are necessary to reflect the full inventory balances.
  • Ensure the period end closing and open period of inventory balances and their proper reporting in Oracle R12 system auxiliaries in the financial statements.
  • Material Overhead rates update in Oracle R12 based on Customs and Importation department analysis provided.
  • Margin Analysis Report review and accounting tieout monthly for financial analysis.
  • Quarterly preparation of the proposal for adjustment to the inventory OSMI reserve (HVAC and TK), for which you must provide information to the Finance Director and Commercial Managers, logistics and coordinate their responses. Prepare a presentation for Financial Director and General Management.
  • Monthly perform OSMI projections for analysis with Finance Leader and General Management.
  • Monthly followup with Finance Director to the OSMI risk reduction plan and Corporate Report.
  • Participate as auditor, accountant and control board in the physical inventories carried out in all Mexico inventory organizations.
  • Application, accounting, reconciliation and analysis of physical inventory adjustments Total and operating in Oracle R12 system.
  • Carry out the activities necessary for the accounting closure of the inventory module, as well as the corresponding accounting entries to properly present the balance of the inventory accounts.
  • Prepare Inventory accounts reconciliation vs General Ledger.
  • Update the operational procedures of the area, in order to ensure the results in the inventory control at the national level, relating them to the use of the inventory Oracle R12 Cost Management.
  • Planning, coordinate and execute with Logistics and distribution, the cycle and annual physical inventories according to current processes, establishing preventive and corrective actions to avoid deviations in the results.
  • Attention to external auditors PWC.
  • Attention to Internal SOX and Corporate Audits.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's in finance, accounting, or related field
years of experience in inventory process or finance area

  • Experience in inventory management or properly has notions of accounting and/or costs.
  • English 50%
