At iCodde we are looking for a Retail Manager who will be responsible for managing the Retail Business in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of our retail stores, for granting the sales plan and coordinating the corporate stores following the guidelines coming from the company's strategies and in strict collaboration with the Brand Manager.


Functions:


  • Sales & Retail
  • Develop tools for daily business in the stores in collaboration with the company HQ.
  • To grant objectives achievement in terms of store turnover and profitability.
  • Analyze sales and KPIs to maximize the store's performance.
  • Control and supervise with HR BP the turnover of employees and develop an action plan.
  • Preparing Sales forecast according to the budget/commercial targets in the country per store and employee.
  • Supervise and implement actions of turnover of sales and operations strategies to maximize growth potential for the retail business.
  • Implement rules and procedures according to retail guidelines from the company HQ.
  • Help to identify new business opportunities for the retail division by detecting potential new store locations across the market and to be approved by the company HQ.
  • Establish a Retail expense budget for the country.
  • Closing nonperforming stores and relocation of wronglocated stores.
  • Responsible for developing a database with existing clients to maintain good business relationships and new ones in collaboration with marketing activities.
  • Evaluate competitive challenges for the brand and identify opportunities for growth and profit enhancement.
  • Responsible for hiring the retail area manager and store managers in cooperation with the Brand Manager, Human Resource Manager, and HQ of the company.

Retail Design:
Plan and execute local events in a store, promotions, and point-of-sale activities to increase sell-through levels.

  • Respecting brand identity, while ensuring that brand image and position were properly maintained in the stores in line with the company HQ.
  • Supervises the proper use of merchandising material in line with the company HQ VM Guidelines in close collaboration with VM.
  • Responsible for the Retail budget in collaboration with the Finance Dept. in the country.
  • Informs the Brand Manager of all and every extraordinary or irregular point and element in the field of his/her responsibility.
  • Leadership: Evaluate weekly market visit reports.
  • Establish the company spirit within the Retail organization (efficiency, unity, cooperation).
  • Assess team performance and provide constructive feedback to support skill development.

Qualifications:

Min 5 years of Management position preferably in a company with a matrix organization.

English advanced

  • Solid experience in Retail and sales.
  • Strong negotiation and solid communication skills.
  • High identification with brand values.
  • Problemsolving & Customer Service oriented.
  • Very familiar with Mexico ́s business and local people management.
