Job Summary

The Senior Database administrator will be in charge to administer and support large database footprint spanning across Business Data landscapes, RDBMS Systems and many heterogeneous data sources ranging from ERP, shop floor and machine data.

Responsible for capacity planning and estimating the requirements for lowering or increasing the capacity of the MySQL environments on On-prem and Cloud platforms.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

Responsible for implementation and ongoing administration of MySQL Solutions.
Migration of database/data from RDBMS to MySQL Onprem & Cloud infrastructure.

- database design, implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning.

MySQL deployment & administration on Cloud platforms
Project management and customer interaction
Monitoring the cluster connectivity & perform backup & recovery task, resource and security management
Handling designers, developers and business request.

Here is the experience that we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in related field
English advanced
Solid understanding of MySQL DB internal architecture demonstrated experience with MySQL
Knowledge of Linux Administration and Architecture
Operations management ITIL Tools
Performance, Monitoring
Dataset connectors and integration
Scripting experience write code and automate repeatable processes
Experience with Automation tools like Chef, Ansible, GIT, Jenkins.
Cloud experience deploying and administration of apps on Amazon AWS, Google or Azure.
