Modernize SAP BW on-premise environment, enabling the migration to an SAP cloud-based solution

Implement and enhance selfservice data products consumed by end users using modern frontend tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Analysis for Office)
Support SAP BW / Azure data services integration
Implement and enhance data pipelines in SAP BW / Azure, including low latency / streaming pipelines
Implement Internet of Things (IoT) data products using Azure platform services

As an IT Data Engineer, you will implement innovative data solutions to support analytics, reporting and machine learning solutions.

This position requires a data warehouse, analytic and data extract technology competency with the ability to support data solution definition.

The ability to design solutions at data pipeline and data model levels, and implement data hygiene and transformation logic is essential.

This is position which requires a high degree of technical knowledge. Effective communication and prioritization skills are required.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data pipeline, data lake and data transformation orchestration processes for a lowlatency, high quality data platform
Work directly with stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop dimensional and federated data models to support the selfservice analytics platform
Provide support by diagnosing and troubleshooting orchestration, integration, database, and data quality issues
Participate in high performance teams to design data solutions using the defined data architecture
Ensure ongoing, auditable compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis. Perform discovery using analytical tools to deliver impactful insights for cost reduction, process improvement and overall business performance.
Develop and document functional and technical specifications and requirements for proposed solutions
Drive end user solution adoption
Interact with infrastructure and operations teams for effective deployments and service levels

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Data Warehousing, Data Pipeline Development
5+ Years' experience developing solutions in SAP BW and/or Azure Synapse
Knowledge of SAP HANA, BW, and any SQL / NoSQL database
Demonstrated and welldeveloped analysis skills. Experience performing systems analysis and identifying & prioritizing improvements.
Excellent design, problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with teams worldwide
Must be selfmotivated and proactive

Salary $65,000 gross maximum with superior benefits.

13% savings fund or legal limit
