As a leader you will form part of our Global TA Senior Leadership team, as we deliver on Talent Acquisition Transformation - a global, multi-year flagship initiative to transform how HSBC sources and hires talent - including:

  • Re-platforming of global recruitment technology, introducing new capabilities in support of talent intelligence and onboarding.
  • Redesign of global processes and ways of working, creating a more efficient endtoend journey and great experience.
  • Redesign of the Talent Acquisition model that enables proactive sourcing, skills pipelines, and skillsbased hiring.
  • Developing and delivering a Talent Acquisition employer brand and attraction strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the overall delivery of a sizeable Talent Acquisition & Onboarding function across all segments and businesses in Americas including but not limited to Specialist hiring and Volume hiring.
  • For this role is expected to lead a team (approx. 125 professionals) to deliver the operation, BAU and continue a transformation of the function. Related to this transformation, lead the implementation of a new Operational Resourcing process.
  • To build strong relationships with internal client partners to offer strategic support to meet business objectives.
  • To partner with our suppliers (Recruitment Process Outsourcing [RPO] /Managed Service Provider [MSP] /Vendor Management Solution [VMS]) to maximize performance and optimize outcomes in line with service level agreements and customer expectations ensuring a high quality and cost effective service is delivered, in line with the Group's structured vendor management standards.

Accountabilities:


  • Delivery of the overall recruiting numbers across all segments and business lines, in response to planned demand and effective mobilization to support unplanned demand.
  • Specific focus on technology hiring and the further build out of our Shared Service Center in Mexico.
  • Reduce time to fill vacancies to increase potential productivity, and meet wider SLAs.
  • Effective management of cost and maximizing innovative & efficient sourcing solutions.
  • Support of strategic business initiatives though a commercial and marketaligned resourcing advisory and delivery service.
  • Accountability for diverse sourcing channels and fair selection process, in line with relevant legislation.
  • Operational delivery of end to end recruitment process. Requirement to respond to all audit observations and findings from any activity led out of GSC Talent Acquisition team.
