Key Responsibilities
- Generate and place purchase orders based on production plans (MPS/MRP) and inventory strategies
- Monitor and track purchase order status to ensure on-time delivery of materials
- Communicate with suppliers on a daily basis to resolve delivery delays, quality issues, and return or replacement requests
- Maintain accurate procurement data including pricing, lead times, and supplier information
- Prepare procurement-related reports such as spend analysis and supplier performance tracking
- Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and ERP purchasing modules (e.g., SAP, Plex)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, production, warehouse, and quality teams to address material supply issues
- Assist in procurement coordination for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 2-3 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Plex, or equivalent)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- English communication skills preferred
