-GENERAL SUMMARY
The Project Engineer works in the area of fabrication and Paint. Responding directly to the Manager responsible of the area.

The Project engineer will have to implement all Services and Equipment respecting the plant capacity for equipment required for the manufacture operations.

He will be responsible of the Development, Introduction and support the daily requirement of every equipment used in his area.

The Project Engineer is the first contact in regard for modification of the Equipment in the area. The Project Engineer is always responsible to keep all equipment and infrastructure in best working condition.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic).
  • 5 years or more of experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual (80% English & Spanish) both oral and written
  • AutoCAD
  • Six Sigma methodologies
  • Knowledge in Welding Process MIG, TIG
  • Advance Knowledge in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrics.
  • Building Code

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • Develop Equipment and Machine with Industrial Engineering to support production needs
  • Built, maintain and improve Plant Services of his area according to regulation
  • Design Machine, Equipment and Services for production that meets safety and quality standards.
  • Define safety devices requirement for plant and equipment
  • Design process and tooling for production that meets safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain the plant layout actualized
  • Create, deliver and update the work instructions to use equipment
  • Make and maintain a list of spare parts and create a preventive maintenance schedule for Equipment
  • Provide all information required in SAP
  • Follow the Plant Services consumption vs Plant Capacity
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing Ideology
  • Create Machine annual Safety certification
  • Follow the evolution of the governmental Laboral condition requirement H&S for Equipment, Plant, and ambient
  • Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the department supervisor.
  • Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their role in relation to the standard ISO9001: 201
  • Comply with safety rules according to the function.
  • Comply in time planned trainings related to Quality and Training.
  • Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
