This position will be working with one of our customers, in the medical device industry.


The position of Embedded Software Engineer will be working with one of our customers based in Tijuana, Mexico and San Jose, CA.

Improving a dialysis machine designed from the inside out to offer a better experience for patients and providers.


What will you do?

  • Participates in software detailed design, implementation, and software verification.
  • Develops software to interface with actuators (pumps, valves, etc.) and complex sensors.
  • Develops use cases, complex state machines, class hierarchies, sequence diagrams and algorithms for fluidic control.
  • Development of automated unit, integration, and functional test protocols.
  • Strong written skills required to support software documentation.

Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Ability to read digital board schematics and datasheets, familiar with microprocessor architectures.
  • Work or university project team experience interfacing with actuators/sensors desired; applicable project examples include robotic devices, selfdriving vehicle technologies and the like.
  • Experience with C/C++, embedded programming
  • Experience with RTOS concepts
  • UML strongly desired
  • Some experience with source code control, preferably Git, strongly desired.
  • The team and medical device are located in Tijuana, Mexico and San Jose, CA. This position will required a week per month to travel to Tijuana. Expenses covered by the team.
