    Purpose and Scope

    Is primarily responsible for providing IT support in a fashion that ensures efficient operations and system compliance. This includes functional and technical guidance on both projects and on-going support requirements for a highly automated manufacturing operation.

    Responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper functioning of servers at the Hardware and Software level through the development of predictive and preventive maintenance policies and procedures that guarantee the continuity of the operation in optimal conditions, including Disaster Recovery Priority, data bases and share files information backups and Service Provision.
  • Resolve hardware or network equipment issues in a timely fashion, either directly or working with others, to include technical support areas of backup and disaster recovery for the equipment.
  • Focused support of Shop Floor Information System and PC controlled manufacturing equipment and gauges.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient delivery of electronic information from Corporate Systems to manufacturing operations.
  • Install printers (hardware and software) for all areas.
  • Install Replace computers in all areas.
  • Technical/Functional Skills

  • Knowledge implementing, configuring, and testing solutions of IT systems
  • Knowledge in Data Base, Network Admin

  • Communication, teamwork, execution, planning, tracking.
  • Education / Experience

    • IT/Systems Engineer, certified. Minimum 3 years as in Network knowledge, Operative Systems, computer configuration, Help Desk and Customer Service.
