    Key Responsibilities

    The IT Asset and Configuration Management Analyst III delivers daily end-to-end configuration management services to the organization, focusing on prioritized tasks.

    The specific responsibilities include:

    1. Manages day-to-day operational activities as defined in processes, including establishing priorities and work assignments.
    2. Tracks compliance to policies and procedures, resolving or escalating any compliance issues.
    3. Reviews, approves, and fulfills configuration management service requests as assigned.
    4. Performs inventory review and data audits with Global Technology Services teams to ensure completeness, compliance, and accuracy of data.
    5. Works on strategic projects to ensure configuration management can deliver required functionality within project timeframes.
    6. Reviews and discusses changes to configuration management IT infrastructure with management, ensuring impacts to configuration management data are properly addressed.
    7. Educates the organization on configuration management services, concepts, policies, and procedures.
    8. Supports new or improving configuration management functionality to achieve operational excellence.
    9. Designs, reviews, codes, tests, and publishes CI reports as needed.
    10. Collects and reports on metrics and CMDB health as required.

    Team Expertise

    The team has extensive experience in ServiceNow configuration management, CMDB, ServiceNow Discovery, reporting, CI relationships, CI classification, and identification.

    Qualifications

    To be successful, candidates require:

    1. 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow configuration management, CMDB, ServiceNow Discovery, reporting, CI relationships, CI classification, and identification.
    2. Knowledge of IT asset and configuration management practices and ITSM.
    3. Understanding of discovery, scan, and scripts processes to update CMDB.
    4. Intermediate to high-level skills in ITIL processes, with ITIL v4 certification preferred.
    5. Strong analytical skills, data management, and manipulation abilities.
    6. Excellent communication skills in English, with strong familiarity with information technology jargon.
    7. Project management or coordination skills.

    Education

    A bachelor's degree in systems engineering, information technology, or a related field is required. Strong communication skills in English are essential for success in this role.
