ABOUT THE ROLE
Uber Freight is looking for experienced customer service professionals with a background in Transportation, Supply Chain, or logistics.

Our specialists will manage transportation functions to ensure accurate contact with carrier to obtain status of load-tendered; continue monitoring the shipment for on-time pick-up, transit, delivered and empty while providing excellent customer service to our customers.

WHAT THE CANDIDATE WILL DO

Additional Responsibilities Regarding Customer and Carrier Relationships.
Appointment Scheduling/Schedule appointments with shipper and/or receiver, update the TMS as needed and communicate with Logistics Specialist.
Communicate any service issues to customer and team.
Identify and update status on which carrier missed delivery; provide sufficient comments for communication to customer.
Monitor and trouble shoot any problems to ensure on time service.
Proactively notify Shipper and/or Receiver of Load Status and reschedule pickup/delivery appointments when necessary.
Update load status in system, e.g., loaded, pickup, delivery, empty, etc.
Update TMS with notes with any issues that may occur.
Utilize TMS to actively manage ontime performance and meet customer KPIs
Be able to follow the US holiday schedule and support a customer based on US EST time zone

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1 Years of customer service experience
Basic Math (Includes aptitude to learn how to calculate mileage as it relates to the passage of time).
Fluent English, must be able to read, write and speak clearly in English
