    The Job:

    As a Manager, Manufacturing Execution, you'll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team as a remote employee. You'll get to:

    1. Lead as a change agent within global manufacturing organization to deliver transformational activities
    2. Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers and analysts
    3. Identify project/program risk, interdependencies, and opportunities to assess feasibility accordingly
    4. Assess existing processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and develop improvement plans
    5. Support and drive a targeted intervention/continuous improvement effort at specific sites co-identified with manufacturing leadership
    6. Lead cross-functional teams to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing program of change.
    7. Facilitate site continuous improvement planning, develop execution plans, and collaborate with sites to implement site plans
    8. Facilitate site maturity assessments and develop roadmaps with plant leadership to address any gaps; supporting sites to reach the next level of maturity
    9. Drive operational improvement through the implementation of Lean standard tools and concepts such as Flow, Standard Work, 5S, Visual-Management, SMED, Poka-Yoke, PDCA, TPM, Kaizen, cell layout, line balancing, etc.
    10. Coach shop floor-based personnel including makers, supervisors, managers in new ways of working
    11. Project management of a portfolio of projects varying in complexity, spend, and duration. Establish & execute detailed project plans to schedule, including key milestones, resources, workstreams, and activities related to optimizing global manufacturing performance
    12. Measure project performance and identify areas for improvement, compiling lessons learned from each project
    13. Execute projects on time, within cost, as per approved business cases and the developed playbook
    14. Lead automation of processes and analysis
    The Person:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with 7-10 years of manufacturing experience
    2. Manufacturing experience in line responsibility and/or experience with the main manufacturing functions: production, maintenance, quality, production engineering, internal logistics, and launch (NPI)
    3. Prior operational consulting experience desirable
    4. Extensive Lean / CI methodologies experience in operations
    5. Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification
    6. Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, or other project management certification preferred
    7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel
    8. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with interpersonal skills
    9. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Six Sigma tools and techniques (i.e., Six Sigma Green Belt) such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R).
    10. Ability to travel up to 50-75% of the time, global and domestic, travel % may vary based on business needs
    11. Works with various department stakeholders to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing program of change.
