Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for maintaining safe and reliable manufacturing systems during process improvement efforts and/or initiatives, including but not limited to production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers
  • Drive key Process Safety related initiatives and/or actions, including active membership on the Process Safety Committee
  • Provide technical support to during ongoing plant operations and shutdowns
  • Provide technical support to the Quality Lab on selected projects.
  • Provide input to capital project scope and detailed engineering to ensure safe, reliable plant design, production at target rates and control of equipment.
  • Collect and analyze data to support current operation and make improvements and modifications.

Qualifications:


  • BS in Chemical Engineering, electronic, electrical, mechanical
  • 35 years working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience in Process Safety Management (PSM) environment preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • English (intermediate or advance) oral and written communication.
  • Ability to contribute effectively as an individual and within a team.
  • Initiative and ability to plan, prioritize, and work with mínimal supervision.
