About the Role


The Latam Strategy & Planning team acts as a strategic adviser to business leaders at Uber on a wide variety of high impact topics.


What You'll Do

  • Lead our Business Strategy Vertical consisting of 3 Analysts/Associates and support our Dir. Latam S&P.
In this role you will be directly responsible for:


  • Set Our Strategy: Lead a team that defines the business' short and long term strategy. The team identifies trends indicating opportunities or risks and proposes specific actions to address them. You will work closely with and advise business leaders across the company on topics ranging from specific analyses and experiments to annual strategic planning to multiyear visions.
  • Leverage our Ops Leaders and Partners to define and focus on our key mid to long term issues

Uncover Insights:

Leverage our rich dataset and external data sources to help improve our collective understanding of what our customers love and hate about Uber.

Uncover opportunities for efficiency and growth from algorithmic tweaks to tectonic shifts in strategy.

  • Manage Projects and Programs: Be the glue that brings teams together to ensure key strategic initiatives reach our customers. Be a hustling multitasker, driving crossfunctional groups to decisions on strategically important questions.
  • Build Relationships: Interface with other functional areas (Finance, Product, Marketing, Public Affairs, Legal, Engineering, People Operations, etc.) to ensure we are bringing all available tools to bear on our toughest problems.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or similar and strong relevant experience in tech/startup or entrepreneurship
  • Strong quantitative skills using Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong storytelling skills that can help leadership clearly identify the "So What" and empower effective decision making
  • SQL experience is highly valued, and R/Python or other programming language is a plus
  • Excellent English and Spanish written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders and generate consensus
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills, capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders
  • Passion for solving complex, unstructured realworld problems with data
