KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Senior Financial Analyst for two - three Vice President tower leaders within digital technology

  • Perform deep analytics aligning leading and lagging indicators to drive transparency, insight, accountability and progress towards current and multiyear AOP and strategy goals.
  • Highlight key trends in financial and nonfinancial indicators to develop a point of view and perspective around results and outlook.
  • Perform analysis to drive decision support across IT and in partnership with the business
  • Partner with peers to create analytical fact pack to support IT monthly operating reviews and other enterprise cadences
  • Drive multiyear improvement by developing and analyzing and tracking appropriate financial ratios (e.g. IT spend to Sales ratio).
  • Deeply engage with IT towers to gain command of their function and become strategic partner
  • Key team member contributing to transformation to modernize the IT CFO function
  • Demonstrates COO mindset to Manager $1B+ Corp Operating Budget and Enterprisewide IT investment portfolio and process which underlies Honeywell's Digital Transformation
  • Supports the Financial and Planning process for Corporate, including STRAP, AOP, and shortrange outlook.
  • Key contributor to support adoption, change management and IT readiness of new tools and capabilities.
  • Key team member supporting functional Planning, Estimating, and with strong productivity accountability.
  • Establish clear, consistent reporting and operating processes ensuring accurate and timely data availability and insightful, thorough analysis.
  • Drive integration, alignment and consistency with SBG CFO/BAP/CIO leaders to monitor and track digital transformation progress including capturing and quantifying IT enabled benefits.
  • Act as business partner to demonstrate insight of financial trends, productivity, and provide practical recommendations to drive results.
  • Identify performance issues within the business and risks and opportunities in current plan or forecast.
  • Instill a culture that emphasizes accountability and transparency among the finance team
  • Drives results; sets clear targets; aligns teams and resources, monitors the delivery of results through peers and extended teams.
  • Ensures Financial Compliance and proper Financial Books & Records. Monitors and continually strengthens the global control environment, including process
- and financial controls. Embodies a culture of controllership and acts a strong role model for compliance and integrity.

  • Key leader on IT CFO leadership team. Serve as proxy from time to time for IT CFO.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
-
Experience working on large and geographically dispersed global teams

  • Experience contributing to finance transformation including introduction of Robotics/RPA, automation tools and capabilities and establishing COE's for transactional work
  • SAP experience required
  • Excel Advanced
  • Tableau / Power BI experience preferred
  • Proven track record of driving decision support and financial progress through deep analytics and key insights
  • Very strong presentation skills ability to tell a story through dashboards and PowerPoint and advanced technology tools

  • Comfortable acting as an organization's COO in the CFO team capacity

EDUCATION
-
Undergraduate degree is required. MBA and/or CPA is preferred
