The Role
Support activities related to Safety, Health & Environmental issues ensuring compliance with Edwards's policies, Federal and government regulations.

Implementation of processes to complete goals and indicators in SHE

Lead the certification Processes required regarding SHE area such as ISO, OHSAS,

Coordinate Safety, Health, & Environmental programs in Monterrey Plant to keep safety conditions to work for all Employees, Customers, Contractors, Visitors and for all persons and entities related with MON Plant Facility Operations.

Lead Continuous Improvement Programs to reach the SHE Word class level.

Responsabilities:

Support activities to ensure everyone in the company complies with SHE rules. Establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace.
Follow up the compliance and total resolution of controls implemented to avoid deviations and noncompliance of SHE Projects.
Execute Internal and attend External audits regarding SHE
Implement rules to assure and controls safe activities from Contractors, Visitors and Suppliers for Operation MON Plant
Implement and maintain shelflife and chemical material procedure at MON, to ensure the materials are identified (expiration date and MSDS data)
To provide SHE trainings to all new hired employees and to retrain employees in yearly
Coordinate medical department
Support and coordinate different studies which are needed to operate safety such as: noise, ergonomic, Exposure to chemicals, risk assessments and job hazardous analysis quality of air, etc.
Follow up initiatives from all Employees to contribute to continuous improvement in safety
Frequent (at least once a week) rounds trips to detect issues related to safety and environmental
Keep records of accidents and incidents in Monterrey Plant
Coordinate and support in accidents and incidents investigation and preventive actions
Assure contingency plant be duly implemented
Support triple certification ISO 9000, 14000 and 45000
