Job Description:


Manage a LOP planning group responsible for all raw material procurement activities within JuP1/LOP, follow-up of releases with the suppliers, maintaining optimum level of raw material to control obsoletes and avoid production shortages and downtime.

Improvement and optimization of procurement planning processes. Further rollout of preferred supply concepts and contribution to TCT reduction targets and LOG cost achievement.


Primary Duties:


  • Control resources to ensure getting raw material on time with the correct quantity for SMT and Business Units in coordination with the Finished Goods, Purchasing and Supplier Quality Teams. Analyze raw material demand and identify inconsistencies. Contact with the suppliers and participate in the forecast and allocation meetings. Control and avoid raw material obsolescence. Support consignment and VMI projects. Checking the parameter setting in SAP. Monitoring the logistic complaints and charge back topics. Reduce logistic costs. (65%)
  • Define and implement improvement projects in procurement planning area
  • Improve competence level of planners in procurement area within JuP1/LOP to increase process excellence and quality
  • Identify and realize inventory reduction potentials for JuP
  • Adhoc tasks

Qualifications:

Experience: 5 years of minimum experience in the Automotive Industry in Logistics.
