REQUIRED EDUCATION:


  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Certified as C-TPAT / AEO Auditor.
  • Patrimonial Security Training.
  • 5 years of experience in this position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA's):


  • Understanding of the Mexican requirements related to AEO security certification.
  • Understanding of the US government requirements related to C-TPAT security certification.
  • Risk analysis for security assessment (ISO 28000, ISO
  • Understanding different security drills.
  • Coordination and management of audits.
  • Ability to lead teams between plants, to understand the root causes of incidents, thefts, investigations and to determine corrective actions.
  • General understanding of CCTV.
  • Compliance mindset.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB AUTHORITY:


  • Coordinate the activities of internal patrimonial security coordinators (Procedures, audits, investigations, security drills, external security, risk analysis, security operations).
  • Coordinate periodic visits to internal coordinators, to review compliance, as well as opportunities for improvement.
  • Internal review process for followup to open / confidential investigations.
  • Manage the standardization of procedures / formats of security in all plants through internal coordinators.
  • Coordinate updates of CTPAT / AEO procedures annually, according to the needs of the plants in conjunction with the CTPAT responsible in the plants.
  • Authority to make the necessary adjustments and / or decision in the management of the security, for the best operation of the security according to the needs of ECI, from ordinary to extraordinary.

KEY ACTIVITIES OF THE POSITION:


1. Constant communication with direct next level.


2. Feedback / support in daily / weekly security activities to internal coordinators as requested.


3. Supervision of compliance with the activities of internal coordinators.


4. Review of the operation of the external security service, coverage, compliance, needs, and opportunities for improvement.


5. Review of investigations of critical / non-critical safety reports, performed by the internal coordinator as appropriate at each plant.


6. Review of daily / weekly reports of the CCTV function, and weekly reports by internal followed.


7. Follow up with plant managers to support QCDP compliance of improvement opportunities found in different plants.


8. Monitoring of audit schedules and compliance with corrective actions in the different plants.


9. Coordinate strategically according to priorities, the supervision visits to each ECI plant in Mexico.


10. The fulfillment of the requirements (security equipment, CCTV, visits to plants, etc.), are made according to the needs of each plant.
