    Job Description

    MAIN FUNTIONS:

    Administration of the Annex 24 database.

    Ensures the veracity of the information uploaded to the Annex 24 system by implementing monthly audits of its database.

    Provide support the customs team during the backflush process to generate the necessary corrections to match the inventory (physical vs temporary).

    Performs the comparison and reconciliation of the information available in the Annex 24 in relation to the existing in Data Stage.

    Loads the information in BOM's to the Annex 24, based on the information available in the corporate inventory system (ERP).

    Management of the ERP System for BOM audits.

    Executes audits prior to, during and after the Annex 24 backflush process.

    Generates, audits, and presents discharge reports to the "SCCCyG" in time and form, according to the guidelines published by the SAT (Annex 30).

    Work and assure the compliance with the discharge reports of the Annex 24 and Annex 30, in accordance with current foreign trade regulations.

    Perform follow-up audits to the initial inventory files and discharge reports uploaded to the "SCCCyG" to verify the maintenance of current balances and correct application of their respective discounts (Annex 30).

    Performs, coordinates, and supervises activities related to the control of temporary import inventories.

    Performs and coordinates activities related to adjustments in pedimentos necessary to maintain veracity between inventories, physical and temporary import balances.

    Related to raw materials and fixed assets, must maintain the integrity of the Annex 24 database and, if necessary, performs the necessary corrections to avoid deviations.

    Generate and analyze measurement indicators (metrics) for each of the defined deliverables.

    Be in contact with the materials department to follow up on merchandise retention periods, material returns, discrepancies in inventories and/or cycle counts, etc.

    Interact with the engineering area to resolve doubts and/or modifications in BOMs, etc.

    Follow up on version updates and information maintenance, as well as the execution of tests in Annex 24, to all the updates and improvements that the Annex 24 provider makes to the system.

    Monitoring and support of errors detected after the implementation of the new Annex 24 version.

    Propose and develop improvements in customs processes.

    Perform backup tests databases.

    Perform slowness tests on Annex 24 and perform maintenance to eliminate the slowness of the database server.

    Manage fixed asset discharge.

    Update annual cost in Annex 24.

    Performs F4, F5 and A3 operations.

    Support with Annex 24 issues during daily operation.

    Validate and authorize the fixed asset export and scrap.

    Validate and authorize the MRO and fix asset rectifications (R1).

    ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES:

    Take care of your and your colleague's safety by not encouraging unsafe acts and reporting possible findings. Seek the continuous improvement.

    Provide training of your functions if required.

    Other activities inherent to the customs department related to complying in time and form with the formalities required by government authorities and the business continuity.

    Participate in special projects to ensure to be in correct compliance with customs legislation in Mexico.

    Import and export invoices support.

    Monitoring and closing of findings derived from external/internal audits.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

    Reports to: Customs Compliance Supervisor

    Required Education: Bachelor's degree in foreign Trade and Customs, bachelor's degree in IT, or related.

    English Level: 3 - Advanced (Technical reading, written and spoken skills)

    Computer use: 4 - Advanced (Office, SAP)

    Knowledge of SQL, database analysis - basic – intermediate.

    Experience of management of Annex 24 and 30 - advanced.

    Legal knowledge regarding foreign trade and customs clearance.

    Ability to manage and participate in multifunctional teams.

    Adhered to procedures, policies, and work instructions.

    Analytical, focused on details, teamwork, goals performance.

    Management of metrics and reports.

    Knowledge and experience in Mexican customs.

    Resolve problems and escalate issues through appropriate channels.
