:Press Brake Operator
Permanent - Full time
Job located in Sherbrooke, QC CANADA
COME AND WORK IN CANADA
Job description:
- Carry out the bending processes according to the plans in the required order
- Program the press brake according to the different parts to be produced
- Analyze production plans or instructions
- Use the right tools for the parts to be produced
- Use digital control systems to adjust and operate the press brake
- Inspect the quality of products to ensure compliance with the plan
- Check the dimensions of materials and manufactured parts using measuring instruments
- Flexibility to work in other departments of the organization
- Maintain an orderly and clean work environment
You will have an influence on:
- Production development and advancement;
- The quality of products manufactured.
Job requirements:
- Secondary education diploma;
- Good English speaking and understanding;
- 1 to 2 year's experience in a factory (a key asset);
- Machining and welding background and experience (a key asset);
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work quickly;
- Professional or personal experience using small tools: screwdriver, pliers, tape measure, calipers, grinders, etc. ;
- Show attention to detail and pride in doing one's job well;
- Adaptability to various workstations.
