What the day will look like:

This role will be accountable for leading organizational change to support the profitable and sustainable growth across all Aon solution lines in the country or subregion.

This will include driving and implementing all global and regional people initiatives, partnering with the business to building and growing the company, embedding organizational design, building a commitment and engagement culture, through change management, colleague experience, inclusion and diversity, wellbeing, talent management, pay for performance culture thus allowing us to attract and retain top talent.

In addition, will also align and ensure the implementation of overall business strategy with colleagues and management teams.

The role formulates partnerships across the People function (COEs) to valuable added service to leaders and colleagues that reflect the business objectives of the organization.


How this opportunity is different:


Partnering closely with leaders in Commercial Risk, Health Solutions, Wealth Solutions, and Reinsurance Solutions to achieve their strategic objectives as well as own the broader People function and leading alongside business leadership to achieve critical initiatives.

Plus, ensuring cluster alignment with the global and regional strategy, and ensure delivery of Cluster requirements. Collaborate with COE leadership roles to deliver coordinated services across the region.

More specifically, the People Business Partner will be accountable for setting strategic direction of business-specific initiatives related to:

  • Performance management process (goal setting, talent review and succession planning, career coaching, development, and assessment).
  • Talent movement (promotions, talent moves to other areas).
  • Development of colleagues across all career levels with a focus on technical and commercial learning.
  • Partners with talent acquisition and business to assess needs and workforce planning strategies.
  • Annual engagement analysis and review.
  • Annual pay/performance cycle and compensation related structure work (e.g. job leveling).
  • People metrics analysis, review and insight delivery to the business.
  • Understanding the business strategy and underlying economics and providing input in executivelevel business decisions.
  • Educating and influencing leaders to adapt quickly to organizational and business specific shifts in direction; considering impacts on business unit and partners with leaders on communication and execution of outcomes needed to adjust to new state.
  • Providing thought leadership—related to strategic delivery and based on outstanding on the ground perspective—to segment or companywide teams preparing organizational change plans for major talentrelated initiatives.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

Intuition For Business/Judgment: 15+ years of in-depth experience and HR leadership in Latin America and broad experience in a global and sophisticated organization


Change Management:
will have a validated ability to set priorities and lead a team and organization through a strategic change mandate.


Team Leadership:

Ability to develop and retain successful teams and proven an ability to mentor senior level leaders as well as People team members.


Relationship Building/Influence:
Demonstrated ability to build strong trust-based working relationships with customers at all levels.


Communication Skills:
A compelling communicator having interacted at the executive levels.

English and Spanish language and culture proficiency is required; Portuguese language capability considered to be important.
