Quality Engineer:

Location: Ramos Arizpe, MX, CP Country/Region: MX
About the position:

Quality Engineer is responsible to following up plan Control according to customer and plant requirements; Develop, Implement, and keep the activities to ensure the quality and production established goals to avoid any complain with our customers, also accomplish with the role responsibilities into quality system.

The responsibilities mentioned above are not limited according to described. This position reports directly to the QA Manager.

Responsibilities:

Provides support to the manufacturing department in decision making. Monitor quality systems.
Responsible for auditable material, Rework and material draw for any quality problem (plant material, shipping, recall or material in transit), this with prior authorization from the product quality superintendent.
Participate, update, control and lead corrective actions.
Manage and control material nonconformities (RMED).
Coordinate corrective actions derived from internal CPKs or PPMs.
Daily monitoring of corrective actions with suppliers, through their SQE.
Communicate defects to the SQE when they are a supplier, internal or external problem.
Audit document control (Visual aids, Work Instructions, Quality alerts, Control Plans, Inspection reports). Participate in the PPAP multidisciplinary team for the generation of documents.
Responsible for ensuring that quality inspectors have updated control plans and inspection reports. Involves in quality workshops, focused on performance improvements of KPI'S.
Follow up on layered audits. Follows up on the implementation of engineering changes. Coordinate drawings and rework for quality problems, plant material, warehouse, transit and/or with the client; Rework must be controlled with the draw method, either WI or QW, approved by the Product Quality when necessary.
Management and control of noncompliant product. Develop and monitor LPA audits as well as close the relevant corrective actions.

Requirements:

Engineering Degree or similar
Bilingual 70% min
Experience in same position (3 years min)
Experience in Commercial vehicles and Automotive Industry
Core Tools.
