    We're looking for an Advanced Quality Engineer in Monterrey, Mexico.

    As an Advanced Quality Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability and compliance of new products and services during the entire innovation process. You'll be accountable for driving quality management processes within development projects, focusing on critical elements including Customer Requirements, Quality Targets, Continuous Improvements for Operational Excellence, adherence to Compliance and Sustainability, Supplier Quality, Critical-To-Quality and Robust Designs, Product Risk Management including Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA), Verification & Validation Tests and Integration of all System Components.

    What you'll do

  • Accountable for all end-to-end quality deliverables for new product development.
  • Work with a cross functional team to manage quality in programs from concept to commercial execution.
  • Create integral quality planning and assure all quality deliverables of all quality disciplines are on time and at the right quality level.
  • Synchronize quality planning on new product development: requirement management, use of methods and tools, validation, and verification, coaching and challenging other functions on execution of these activities as needed.
  • Drives I2M (Idea-to-Market) Quality in the assigned projects and escalates when necessary to the Integral Project Manager or the Product Quality Manager.
  • Acts as gatekeeper for New Product Development milestones.
  • Interface and update regularly key project stakeholders including R&D (design), Manufacturing (process), Supplier Quality, Program Management and Product Management.
  • Continuously improve Detection Controls by supporting design and process teams to update test development procedures (verification, validation, and process tests), leveraging industry standards.
  • Continuously improve Prevention Controls leveraging root cause analysis from field returns and lessons-learned from past projects to update best practices (design rules), leveraging Signify's processes.
  • Works on complex topics where analysis of situations/data involves many factors.
  • Participates in multi-disciplinary quality improvement projects, Engineering Design Reviews of specifications and drawings.
  • Close feedback loops from customer complaints by embedding learnings into design process.
  • What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree completed in an Engineering discipline from accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional project teams.
  • Led Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) reviews.
  • Ability to translate Customer Requirements and Voice of Customer realized into product design.
  • Proven success in approving PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) packages.
  • Experience in implementation of Safe Launch.
  • Familiarity with Compliance, IP65, IP66 preferred.
  • Strong technical background with products combining mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Basic understanding of firmware and software sub-systems and how they interact with the overall systems.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
  • Bi-lingual proficiency in English is MANDATORY.
