Position:
People Operations Specialist

Fairplay is looking for a highly motivated, smart, energetic, and well-organized People Operations to join our Human Resources team in Mexico City.

As the People Operations Executive reporting to the Head of People (For now directly to the CEO), you will help manage all daily People Operations and instances.

# Key


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding processes to enhance new and departing employee experience
  • Manage employee benefits, including broker/ vendor relationships, enrollment, claims resolution, and general employee inquiries
  • Manage employee LOA, including maternity leave, disability, FMLA, etc
  • Manage the administration of the company's benefits, prepare related employee communications and conduct audits to ensure accuracy of all information
  • Oversee immigration procedures, including FM's for foreign employees, hiring execution through international platforms like Deel, OnTop, etc for international hires
  • Maintain and communicate internal HR policies; manage personnel files and completion of employeerelated legal documents; stay on top of changing laws both local and national
  • Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures
  • Project manage the annual employee performance review process, including project timeline and overall execution
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, including completion of mandatory reporting
  • In partnership with the finance team, create a comprehensive compensation policy and guidelines.
  • Ensure data integrity by way of driving best practices through systems/tools, processes, auditing, and internal tracking
  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for all security audits and work with internal teams and manage HR compliance documentation, process and audits
  • Ensure HR audit and control processes and controls are developed and followed in compliance with federal and state laws and internal policies and procedures
  • Work closely with every business unit manager to maintain a top of the line internal service with the best SLA standards
  • Assists employees with human resources needs and communicates with management (and with any other interested party involved) on employee changes and issues
  • Other duties as assigned
# Requirements

## Essential:

- +3 years of People Ops or similar experience

  • Organized and detailoriented with solid project management and analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
  • HRIS experience. (We use Freshteam)
## Highly Recommended

  • Highly analytical and capable of extracting insights from data
  • A strong planner with exceptional attention to detail
  • A strong passion for continuously improving processes
  • A selfstarter with a passion for People and Culture.
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates
  • Experience in highgrowth companies with a strong culture
  • Innovative thinking
  • Experience delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization
## Bonus

  • Experience working with an international and multidisciplinary teams

  • Ability to create and use technical spreadsheets

# What we offer

  • Location: Primarily Remote first with occasional visits to our office in Mexico City
  • Position: Full Time
  • Contract Type: Indefinite with a 3month trial period
  • Hiring Model: Registered as an employee with full benefits (IMSS, Infonavit, etc.).
