Main Responsibilities:

Creates and maintains master production schedules. Issues build sheets.
Maintains schedules in the operating system based on forecast.
Updates information in the Demand Management Database.
Maintains a shipping schedule.
Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with management and representatives from Order Fulfillment, Marketing, Engineering, etc. to discuss current and future schedules and forecast.
Creates optimized build sequence that honors manufacturing constraints and delivery date promised to the customer.
Communicates Engineering Change Decisions to production.
Ensures computer systems accurately reflect material requirements as driven by forecast and actual orders.

What Skills You Need:

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and factory operations.
Understanding of manufacturing databases and inputs.
Understanding of bills of material.
Working knowledge of the appropriate operating and information systems.

What Makes You Stand Out:

Manufacturing and/or operations experience.
Experience working in one or more operations support functions such as warehousing, logistics, etc.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting and scheduling.
Cross functional work exp in multiple areas, i.e., accounting, product eng, quality, manufacturing ops, warehousing/ distribution, production employee supervision, supply mgmt, marketing, HR, industrial eng, etc.
Experience with Production Control systems

Education:

Degree in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management or equivalent experience.
