Descripción

Work under the direct supervision of the Quality Supervisor or Engineer, this role conducts inspections of product samples, interprets the results to define their conformity status, performs statistical studies on processes and measurement equipment, generating data reports in predefined formats.

May carry out tasks related to quality system documentation control, conducts product and process audits according to applicable procedures, and applies Honeywell's Operation System controls.

In certain cases, may provide indirect supervision to quality inspectors.

Key Responsibilities

Follow the standard work related to their position, participating in its continuous improvement.

  • Conduct inspections and Gemba walks in their area aimed at detecting and subsequently correcting operational and safety issues within and outside their area of responsibility.
  • Participate in and provide support for the implementation of tools from the Honeywell Operating System (HOS), integrating them into their normal working methods (5S, visual control, TPM, quick problemsolving, etc.).
  • Meet the AOP/HSE metrics (safety observations, HSE maturity, 0 accidents) for the year.
  • Participate in kaizen programs and continuous improvement activities in line with HOS requirements.
  • Fulfill the requirements defined in the process tortoises applicable to their department, such as procedures, participating in meeting metrics, quality objectives, and the different stages of risk analysis.
  • Notify their supervisor of any critical problems that may jeopardize product quality.
  • Able to handle inspection and testing instruments.
  • Uses the acceptance and rejection criteria specified in the applicable work instructions.
  • If required, actively participate in daily operations meetings (accountability meetings) in different Production areas, promptly and effectively responding to problem resolution within their responsibility or assignment.
  • Perform and coordinate the task of Incoming Quality Control (IQC) inspection of raw materials according to applicable procedures.
  • Conduct samplings for Statistical Process Control and make decisions based on methodology.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Secondary education or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of Window s and SAP
  • Standard work
  • Basic knowledge of testing equipment
  • Inspection plans
  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar position. Or 1 year as a Band 5 operator
