    Job Title: Software Automation Engineer

    Welcome to Reece USA, a leading company in the industry. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a vital role in driving innovation and streamlining processes.

    Your primary objective will be to design and develop automated tools that mimic human interactions on our digital platforms, improving overall efficiency.

    This position is part of a small team of testers, working closely together to reduce manual labor and free up valuable time for teams to focus on strategic initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and Develop Automated Tools: Create robust and scalable automation frameworks to support automated testing of application behavior.
    • Automated Software Development: Develop software that accurately simulates user interactions and validates system functionality.
    • Integration with Existing Systems: Integrate automation tools with CI/CD pipelines and defect tracking systems.
    • Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to understand product requirements, identify testing needs, and provide feedback.
    • Analyze Test Results: Analyze test results to identify defects, failures, and anomalies.
    • Review and Optimize Test Results: Review and optimize test results to ensure high-quality output and system reliability.

    Requirements:

    • Proven Expertise: Proven expertise in software testing and/or development, with a focus on building scalable automation solutions.
    • Extensive Hands-on Experience: Extensive hands-on experience using Selenium for web automation and testing.
    • Maintenance and Scaling: 3+ years of hands-on experience in maintaining and scaling automation frameworks.
    • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams with developers, managers, and product owners.
    • Personality: Self-driven, proactive, and goal-oriented personality.
    • CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation into the build process.
    • English Language: Advanced level of English.
    • Automation Frameworks: Experience developing automation frameworks from scratch.
    • Cloud-based Testing Platforms: Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.
    • Version Control Systems: Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
    • RESTful API Testing: Strong understanding of RESTful API testing.
