    Software Engineer (Java-Oracle)

    This role offers an opportunity to learn and grow within our current technology stack, as well as gain in-depth exposure to new technologies. Our geospatial services and tools enable the company to efficiently price insurance policies for customers regardless of location.

    We are looking for a skilled software engineer who will collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure code meets business needs and SLAs. The ideal candidate will develop and execute test scenarios, analyze and resolve issues, and support code migration from development through to production.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure code meets business requirements
    • Develop and execute test scenarios and test cases for unit and integration testing
    • Analyze and resolve issues discovered during testing and code execution
    • Support code migration from development through to production

    Requirements:

    • At least 3-5 years of experience as a software engineer across multiple environments (Windows, UNIX, and/or Linux)
    • Demonstrated experience with Java and various technologies such as Web Application Servers, JSF, Junit, AJAX, JavaScript/UI frameworks, database management systems, web service development, and data mapping using JSON and/or XML technologies
    • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of cloud technologies and geospatial software solutions is a plus
