  • About the roleThe Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting with regular financial reporting deliverables as well as business support. The individual will also support initiatives to improve financial processes and procedures, as well as participate in special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance team on all financial analysis and reporting, including month close activities / KPI reporting, quarter close activities and forecasting.
  • Support the development of analytics and management information, which enables the business to track strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare quarterly financial reporting deliverables, to outline the performance of the business compared to relevant periods and projections.
  • Support the annual and quarterly Strategic Planning process by gathering input from the global operations teams and compiling the projected results to be shared with the business.
  • Review and analyze expenses monthly providing clear and concise commentary.
  • Support in any finance transformation or process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in other special projects and/or coordination efforts as needed.
What we are looking for

This individual must have finance and accounting experience and be a forward thinking and progressive contributor. He/she will have the capability to collaborate with the business teams as well as across various functional disciplines.


Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of accounting or finance experience
  • BA degree or equivalent
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to multitask to meet competing deadlines
  • Strong business and financial acumen and ability to present issues clearly and concisely
  • Financial statement analysis experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Flexible to work additional hours during peak times
  • Experience in forecasting and modelling and knowledge of business performance metrics

Additional Characteristics:

  • Highly motivated and resultsoriented
  • Experience working with diverse cultures
  • Ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders at different levels and in multiple countries
  • Proficient in financial software systems including BPC, SAP EP1, or comparable planning/accounting software a plus
  • Insurance or financial services experience preferred
