    About the role The Mobile App Manager at AstraZeneca will spearhead the development, deployment, and optimisation of mobile applications, with a primary focus on managing app uploads to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

    Additionally, you will oversee all external clinical trials conducted by the company, ensuring compliance, and facilitating the setup of necessary email accounts for trial communication.


    Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning:
    Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for mobile app initiatives, prioritising app uploads to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store to maximize reach and impact

    Project Management:
    Lead the end-to-end execution of mobile app projects, including managing the upload process, app submission, review management, and version updates

    Clinical Trial Oversight:
    Take responsibility for all external clinical trials conducted by AstraZeneca, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

    Email Account Setup:
    Facilitate the setup of necessary email accounts for external clinical trials, enabling effective communication and collaboration among trial participants

    Vendor Management:
    Collaborate with third-party vendors and technology partners to optimize the upload process and ensure compliance with app store guidelines and policies

    Quality Assurance:
    Establish robust quality assurance processes to validate app functionality, performance, and compliance before submission to app stores

    Compliance and Security:
    Ensure that mobile apps meet regulatory requirements and adhere to industry standards, particularly regarding data privacy and security

    Performance Analysis:
    Utilise analytics tools to monitor app performance metrics, user feedback, and store reviews, driving continuous improvement and optimisation efforts

    Stakeholder Engagement:
    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and communicate app release timelines and updates

    Training and Support:

    Provide training, documentation, and technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders on the app upload process, clinical trial oversight, and email account setup.

    Establish and maintain app publishing standards and documentation.
    Identify and assist with effective risk & issue management. Escalate risks and issues as appropriate.

    Ensure the delivery squad adheres to all standards, quality, and compliance, as well as processes, defined technical capabilities, and best practices.

    Support senior colleagues in the continued development of the process capabilities and ensure that best practice is adopted and reinforced.
