General Context


Campari Mexico has a portfolio of multiple critical, cross-functional, growth and efficiency projects underway with impacts to both the local and global markets, including an aggressive tequila growth strategy, the growth and integration of our mezcal business, and the improvement & assurance of co-manufacturing supply.

The Supply Chain Development Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall progress of this complex portfolio of projects by keeping all the involved stakeholders aligned and ensuring the different project streams are progressing in a successful and coherent fashion.


  • Management the Mexico Supply Chain master plan and developmet portfolio of projects;
  • Reviewing resource allocations among plants and comanufacturers;
  • Optimizing production line layouts and throughput;
  • Optimizing stock and material flows;
  • Guaranteeing the correct Yield E2E process management implementation in order to capture cost reductions or cost avoiding savings.

The overall objectives of the position are to:

  • Sustain the volume growth projected by the Group Strategic Plan;
  • Optimize €/liter KPI (i.e. manufacturing and logistic/warehousing costs);
  • Enhance Safety and Sustainability;
  • Compliance.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Collaborates in the definition of the project teams and defines a detailed program masterplan: identifies required resources, drafts project risk assessments and related mitigation plans, defines project timelines and monitors them;
  • Coordinates the execution managing the project teams (within the Programme scope): checks the timely execution of project activities, managing performance gaps and ensuring a prompt escalation of issues when needed;
  • Supports Project Managers in the overall projects development throughout all the stages;
  • Monitors and controls the overall portfolio and single projects' execution performance (time and budget);
  • Helps in the assessment of the overall Supply Chain impacts and risks, coming from the projects, and the related mitigation plans, challenges Project Managers and provides recommendations;
  • Ensures projects' alignment with short and long term business goals;
  • Ensures the Portfolio of projects' visibility and access to right level of information for Project teams;
  • Challenges resources' utilization, to make sure these are employed in an efficient manner;
  • Manages the different stakeholders involved in the Programme making sure they are kept up to date with respect to the Programme status, duly informed on key risks and opportunities, called upon when decisions need to be taken, and overall aligned on progress
  • Chairs the Programme Steering Committee, defining the agenda, preparing prereads, facilitating the meeting and sharing minutes;
  • Provides regular updates to the SC Lead Team Americas and the Global SC Lead Team
  • Ensures compliance. Coordinating related plans, in collaboration with Legal, Quality, H&S and Internal Audit.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor/ Master Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering;
  • Min 10 years experience in managing projects in FMCG industry, with indepth knowledge of Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations;
  • Successful track record in managing complex projects simultaneously in a dynamic and demanding environment;
  • Demonstrated capability in working within different functions and multiple stakeholders;
  • PMO certification is a plus;
  • Financially literate with experience in business case definition;
  • Fluency in Spanish and English;
  • Expert user of MS Office tools (Excel, Project and PowerPoint).
