Tasks and Qualifications:

The Role

Dematic/KION is looking for an SAP ABAP Developer - EDI Expert responsible for managing the Technical developments of the SAP Systems.

Responsibilities
To be successful in this demanding role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:

Responsible for implementing part or all the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design.
Analyzes business/ functional requirements and prepares development project schedule, tasks, and estimates.
Performs technical design and documents technical specifications. Ensures compliance of developed solution to underlying solution architecture.
Develop Traditional ABAP WRICEFs using Object oriented ABAP Programming.
Responsible for development of EDI / IDOC Messages, Customizing message types.
Responsible for EDI design, development, and implementation, mapping and testing with a knowledge on Business Process and B2B Mapping, SAP IDOC based interface design and development.
Develop test plans and automated scripts to assure expected performance quality levels meet standards in development efforts. Analyze root cause and provide solutions for production and development issues.
Responsible for developing inbound and outbound interfaces to/from the cloud to On-Premises and Cloud instances of SAP Products.
Provides planning and design support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment.
Defining and implementing of interfaces to upstream and downstream systems.
Responsible of understanding various integration adapters in SAP to exchange messages between sender and receiver.
Monitor and present periodic status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar field.
5+ years of SAP experience as an SAP ABAP consultant and 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience.
At least 2 SAP endtoend implementation experience and at least one S/4HANA Implementation / conversion experience.
Proficient with Traditional ABAP WRICEFs.
Experience in EDI design, development, and implementation, mapping and testing with a knowledge on Business Process and B2B Mapping.
Experience working with CDS, Adobe Forms, RF screen Programming, CDS views, APIs.
Able to discuss (within own area of expertise) requirements with a customer, and to challenge and clarify when appropriate. From the requirements, able to develop a highlevel design or plan, and then estimate the amount of effort required to deliver. Able to advise the engagement owner about the risks associated with this work package.
Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with users on small to medium sized engagements.
Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover and golive support.
Experience with global, large scale ERP implementations
Proficient using Project Management tools (JIRA).
Strong communication skills (English required C1/C2).
