As a Utility Worker 1/2/3 with the Tuolumne Utilities District, you will perform a variety of construction, maintenance and repair work on water and wastewater distribution, collection, treatment and disposal systems and facilities. Your tasks may include installation, maintenance and repair of water and sewer pipelines services appurtenances fire hydrants gate valves meter connections angle stops service pipes corporation stops tapping main lines for new or replacement service performing various maintenance and repair tasks on facility system implements such as pumps weirs manholes sumps blow-offs pressure control stations sample stations etc.

You will operate tools equipment such as pneumatic tools compressors jackhammers tampers hydraulic excavators backhoes pipe saws concrete mixers generators loaders bulldozers telehandlers skid-steer loaders dump trucks in order to complete assigned tasks safely efficiently effectively.

Your role requires physical stamina working outdoors in varying weather conditions exposure to noise vibration fumes dust generated during construction operations occasional inside work temperature-controlled environment participation standby duty emergency situations establishment cooperative working relationships co-workers contractors customers

To be successful as a Utility Worker 1/2/3 you must have high school diploma equivalent valid Class C license satisfactory driving record ability pass background check obtain certifications licenses specified period time meet requirements Division assignments support team development provide technical assistance
