• Building and managing data pipelines in DBT and Fivetran
• Optimizing existing processes for performance and cost
• Production support and problem resolutions for all active data collections
• Size and scope development efforts for both operation and project initiatives
• Create, contribute & maintain documentation of dataflows, processes, data artifacts, projects
• Keep abreast of new feature offerings in existing tech stack and how it might fit into our existing ecosystem
• Hands on development
• Monitor & troubleshoot problems with existing workflows; Diagnosing and resolving bugs
• Design, develop, and test moderate to complex ELT/CDC processes using a variety of tools
• Design, develop & test database views to improve performance in Snowflake in support of PowerBI users
• Provide support to any pipeline, ELT, CDC issues throughout nightly runs for data extractions and updates
• Work closely with functional team members in solution design and support ticket troubleshooting
• Plan and execute secure, good practice data integration strategies
• Acquire, ingest, and process data from multiple sources and systems
• Create and manage data environments in the Cloud
• Collaborate with other teams to map data fields to hypotheses and curate, wrangle, and prepare data for use in advanced analytical models
• Mentor team members
• Work with senior management in strategic and tactical planning
