Job Description:

The
_Sr Quality Engineer_ develops, implements, and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems and activities.

Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.

Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations. Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Support Quality programs using statistical process control techniques, as well as process and product audit tools to ensure the manufacture of products according to established standards.
  • Develop, coordinate and implement continuous improvement systems in manufacturing processes.
  • Develop Quality Engineering activities for the correct evaluation of products and raw materials.
  • Use statistical analysis of data to adjust the acceptance and rejection margins in materials and products.
  • Support audit systems in receipt of material, product in process and finished product, generating proposals for improvement.
  • Carry out activities of the nonconforming material program returned by the client such as: Analysis, Reports and feedback to the production areas.
  • You must attend updating courses and seminars referring to ISO 9000 and 14000 standards respectively.
  • Carry out activities to achieve the goals of Quality, Safety, Hygiene and Environment.
  • The most relevant indicators to comply with are: RTYL, Scrap, process audits, internal MRB and customer complaints, among others.
  • Knowledge of the following tools: statistical process control, FMEA, control plan, measurement system.
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and A
  • Comply with environmental, safety, occupational health and quality regulations and standards, as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures and good practices aimed at environmental conservation, accident prevention, personal health care and quality. of our products.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree in engineering.
  • Proficient English level.
- +5 years of experience in Quality.

  • At least 2 years of experience with people management.
  • Experience in ETO or customized products.
  • Problem Solving, Core Tools & Lean Six Sigma knowledge
  • Project Management skills/knowledge preferably.
