- Implementing Security Requirements: Assist in the deployment of solutions for different security aspects, such as intrusion detection, security alerts, virus protection, and more. Collaborate with global teams to ensure solutions align with baseline plans.
- Security Awareness Communication: Actively engage in raising security awareness across Latin America to encourage secure behaviors and adoption of new controls through regular training and communication efforts.
- Vendor and Solutions' Security Evaluation: Conduct evaluations on vendors and solutions, assess disaster recovery capabilities, and review system architectures to ensure compliance with IT standards.
- Security Incident Management & Request Fulfillment: Work with security teams on incident response, manage access requests, and contribute to the development and testing of security systems.
- Project Planning: Collaborate with security architects to design technical solutions based on business requirements and ensure the completion of technical analysis for secure implementations.
- Bachelor's degree in Programming/Systems, Computer Science, or similar field, or equivalent work experience.
- General understanding of Computer Operating Systems, Network Design, Hardware management, and more.
- Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English language (reading, writing, speaking).
- Minimum 18 months of experience in IT Security and Network Administration.
- Preferred certifications in Information Security and Networking.

If you want to be part of the team that brings out the best, this is your chance to join the IT department as an IT Security Associate for Mexico. You'll play a key role in project execution as per the architecture team's guidelines. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the proper testing, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of security technology and operations, following security policies and guidelines, alongside senior engineers. Additional tasks involve product management, vendor coordination, collaboration with global teams on security incidents, and supporting various operational activities. As a team member, you will contribute to projects by analyzing, enhancing, and executing IT processes to deliver high-quality services to internal clients. This role provides a good level of autonomy, interaction with clients, and frequent vendor engagement.
This hybrid position is based in Querétaro, with an initial requirement of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home - though this arrangement may change. Depending on your performance, there are opportunities for growth in this role.
