Job Purpose Summary

As part of Corza Medical Corporate Engineering Team, the Senior Program Manager - Manufacturing & Operation programs is responsible for the clear definition, scoping and time calculations of business unit programs established by Corza regarding Product introductions and transfers, Automation initiatives and Product Deployment.

This position, for leading large corporate programs through stage gate quality control guidelines throughout the full system development life cycle, ensures resources are managed accordingly for the purpose of delivering quality programs within budget, their time constraints, and with the personnel necessary.

This position will interact with all levels in the organization and needs to be a strong Individual adept in leading indirectly, communicating assertively with executive members of the organization, and managing resources to reach established goals.

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span a Corza Business Unit.
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for major and minor initiatives simultaneously.
  • Create detailed and accurate project schedules; implement project reporting tools to support management tracking, reporting and stagegate decision making.
  • Set goals and objectives for project deliverables and assist in the evaluation of the team against these metrics. Identify opportunities for improvement proactively. Work creatively and analytically in a problemsolving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Provide leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones. Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
  • Gains consensus for the optimal solution by effectively organizing and presenting information to stakeholders and Executive Leadership.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across executive level and teams.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may jeopardize project schedules or improve project time. Keep management fully informed in a timely manner with regard to any and all potential problems on a project.
  • Drive crossfunctional accountability and project management.

What you will need

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, preferably Engineering.
  • 8 + years of experience in Medical Device with at least 4 years in Program Management/Project Management, working within business stakeholders within a crossfunctional matrix environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are required. Meeting organization and presentation skills required.
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Effective at developing Gantt charts, managing time and prioritizing projects in order to meet established deadlines.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills; ability to lead cross functionally without direct reporting lines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) is required.
  • Proven ability to maintain full regulatory compliance with EHS, FDA, ISO 13485, OSHA and other legal requirements.
  • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective.
