Driver by this tren, Unilever acquired The Vegetarian Butcher brand in the end of 2018. With this move Unilever expanded its portfolio with sustainable plant-based foods that are healthier and have less impact on the environment

The range of high-quality products are the pride of The Vegetarian Butcher They were created for meat lovers and cannot be distinguished from real meat in terms of taste, texture and smell.

Together with Unilever, The Vegetarian Butcher can realize its ambition to become the biggest butcher in the world

Since the acquisition the company is scaling-up faster. In this journey we are looking for motivated people who have the passion to change the World. This is a very exciting role in a fast-growing category, which completely addresses future trends.

The person taking the position will have the unique opportunity to work in both Retail and Food Service channels with local, regional and global exposure.

¿Qué harías?
You will be responsible for development & implementation of tasty new plant based meat products for The Vegetarian Butcher.

This is an exciting opportunity in a disruptive category to lead innovation, renovation and optimization projects in close cooperation with LATAM and Global R&D teams as well as external manufacturing partners for Mexico, Colombia and Central America.

¿Qué necesitas para aspirar a la vacante?

Graduate of chemical engineering, food technology or similar
Experience in R&D, preferably foods
Preference for experience in (external) manufacturing
Good interfacing skills with international teams
Full working proficiency in English (written and spoken)
