Activities:
Process credit applications
Complete credit investigative work utilizing credit reports, references, and internet searches to establish customer credit limits within established guidelines
Analyze information to determine if the account is eligible for a credit line increase and set credit limits accordingly
Review and adjust customer lines of credit
Maintain current information in support of established credit limits making recommendations to management
Maintain a positive relationship with the sales, and customers by utilizing good communication and collaboration
Escalate key issues to the Credit Manager or VP of Finance
Requirements
Customer Service/Relationship Management
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office platform
Intermediate Excel skills are a must
Data entry/typing skills with a high level of accuracy
1 year of business-to-business credit investigation experience preferred
Organized and detail-oriented
Familiar with credit reporting agencies (e.g., DNB, ANSONIA)
