IFRSJob Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant who will report to Cost accountant Supervisor based locally and will work with a team.

In this role you will support a local accounting/finance structure, working directly with the operations and also helping out with other facilities if needed.

Significant opportunities and requirements to interact with Finance organization and cross-functional operations teams (Project Management, Supply Chain, Planning, Production, etc.); You are highly involved with the day-to-day operations of the colleagues in your team

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Month end reporting.
Perform month end close for Inventory/Purchasing/Accounts Receivable/Cost of goods sold close and reconciliation.
Project accounting monthly review sales and margins analysis.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Management and ownership of standard costing system.
Data analysis for cost and manufacturing within the business
Focus on Process and Efficiency improvement, identifying and escalating issues and bottlenecks.
Inventory initiatives to reduce, No Demand items and OSMI.
Support the Cost Accounting Supervisor and Finance Business Partners in the calculation of standards, rates and/or costing standards and analyze impacts in the product cost.
Explore and analyze root causes of any cost related business operations issues. Support plant and companywide initiatives related to shortening the close process, efficiency KPIs, rework, scrap, warraties, etc.
IFRS knowledge required & SOX
Ensure SOX compliant processes and controls.
English advance skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

Strong Cost Accounting knowledge and experience.
General knowledge of accounting policies.
Proficiency in Excel other MS Office products.
Clear and concise communications skills.
Ability to challenge the norm and look for better solutions/processes.
Systems knowledge: Oracle, BPC, SAP experience is preferred, PowerBI is a plus.
BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 57 years relevant experience
