A Snapshot of Your Day:

You would be leading, communicating, and coordinating an entire sales team for combined cycle and simple cycle power plants. Determine overall sales strategy for the projects, and together with the proposal team settle strategies and prepare the quotation. In addition, maintain and develop relationships and interfaces between customers and internal Gas Services business units and product lines.


How You'll Make an Impact:


  • Responsible for the overall sales process from first customer contact to contract signature and handover to project execution team.
  • Work together with our Business Development and proposal teams within the region, to manage existing or new opportunities and bid strategies to provide the solutions the best meet customer needs.
  • Recognize trends, leads and opportunities for the industrial power segment.
  • Lead continuous optimization and follow up on sales projects to ensure successful closure jointly with multidisciplinary teams and ensure accurate internal reporting.
  • Lead and coordinate approval LOA process within the Gas Services organization.
  • Achievement of booking volume for new combined cycle and simple cycle power plants, or Gas Turbine or Steam Turbine packages while meeting business targets.
  • Assist in driving Sales growth strategies for GS clients.
  • Lead internal and external efforts with these clients to achieve desired objectives and results.
  • Deliver presentations of market & technology product detail, proposals and to clients.
  • Feedback on customer requirements, product improvements, market price levels & customer satisfaction.

What You Bring:


  • Engineering bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years progressive Business Development/Sales/Proposal experience across AE, EPC or Power Generation industry.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) business communications skills oral, written and presentation.
  • Documented experience of Business Development in the power generation market.
  • Planning, guiding, and implementing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of power plants, their proposal development process, and Latin America's power generation market, including current and upcoming policies driving new investments.
  • Strategic orientation with a detailed knowledge of partners, products, services and markets of power plant business.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to listen to clients, extrapolate relevant data, and generate winning strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in optimally communicating and leading defined strategies internally across multiple units of business and their respective product lines.
  • Experience working with or leading crossfunctional and crossproduct line initiatives, domestically and internationally.
  • Selfmotivated with high energy drive and business sense.
  • Capable of multitasking, with excellent organization skills while assuring a highquality work process.
  • Willingness and flexibility for domestic and international travel of 4050%.
