    Purpose

    • Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering Midstream projects portfolio to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.
    • Act as primary technical co-ordination interface with clients to ensure that the client's expectations are satisfied. Act as project sponsor.
    • Act as liaison with project operation managers in English speaking countries.

    Responsibilities

    HSE Management

    • Visibly support Worley One-Way Program and maintain HSE focus within the team to ensure OHSE requirements included in design and procurement.

    Client Relationships

    • Establish, maintain, and build healthy client relationships and resolve project issues as required with the client.
    • Support in the proactive resolution of performance, scope and schedule issues with clients as they arise.
    • Supervise the effectively management of assigned budgets within Worley' total scope.

    Scope Management

    • Monitor compliance with Worley project management practices and standards.
    • Monitor compliance with requirements of the contracts.
    • Monitor implementation of effective change control process.

    Cost and Schedule Control

    • Monitor that proper cost and schedule management is in place, identify trends, and make sure that actions are taken to avoid cost overruns and schedule delays.

    Quality Management

    • Monitor compliance with Worley policies, procedures, and guidelines.

    Team Management

    • Make sure that the relevant project team members are aligned with achievement of milestones and key project objectives.

    Communications Management

    • Make sure that effective communication is in place between the different project teams and the rest of the organization and third parties.
    • Accurate, timely and effective reporting to the Director of Operations.
    • Monitor the closure of all identified risks in the portfolio risk register and proactively search for other areas in the project portfolio which may be a risk in the future.

    Design Management

    • Interact with the Engineering Director and the different engineering department managers to make sure they provide enough and proper resources to project teams.
    • Ensure that the different project teams are aware of, and complies with, client's requirements and applicable regulations and codes.

    Procurement/Subcontracts Management

    • Monitor as required the procurement processes performed in the different projects to ensure third party services meet specifications and are delivered on time and within budget.

    Qualifications:

    Technical and Industry Experience

    • Not less than 15-year experience in oil and gas midstream projects and portfolio management with emphasis in engineering development phases associated with gas transportation and storage facilities, including compression, compression and metering stations, as well as in liquid fuel transportation systems and in storage terminals.
    • Having worked in midstream projects' construction phases will be a plus.

    Education, Accreditation, Training

    • Engineering degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or any other discipline relevant to Midstream market. Other educational backgrounds can be accepted if enough experience and/or capabilities are demonstrated.
    • Good knowledge of Excel and MS Project
    • PMP certification will be a plus.
    • A MBA degree will be a plus

    Language:

    • Native: Spanish,
    • English: enough to keep technical and business conversations.

    Location: Mexico City. It will be required to visit clients and project sites as required.
