We are looking for a Manufacturing Operations Manager to Lead our Tijuana Team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages a section in a department or small department in a single functional or technical area within a single location, organization, product, or technical discipline.

Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
Manages supervisors and/or individual contributors who perform similar roles. Provides guidance to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems within the latitude of established company policies.

Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.

Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Supervisor and coordinate the operational activities and resources within the assigned product area ensuring optimum efficiency and maximum profitability.
Coordinate capacity, technical support and facility alignment to support product

- introductions, transitions, discontinuance and constraints.

Ensure that lean manufacturing practices are applied and maintained within assigned product area.
Reduce errors and customer returns through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Reduce Inventory levels while not compromising customer deliveries.
Lead continuous improvement and profitability growth initiatives.
Function as coproject leader on all engineering projects.
Ensure that team members are trained and demonstrate continuous improvement.
Has financial impact only within the scope of immediate activities.
Accountable for results in terms of costs, strategies and employees.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

B.S Degree in business or engineering.
7 years' experience in manufacturing and operations with at least 23 years in team leadership experience on a management level.
Proficient in English language
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
Broad and detailed knowledge in function, product, technology service, strategy, and business complexities.
Project manager skills
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
Effective at working in team situations.
Ability to lead Lean/Continuous Improvement disciplines such as Kaizen, Cellular Mfg., One piece flow, 5S, visual management, Kanban, etc.
Knowledge on new product introduction.

You Will Excite us if you Have:

Master's degree in related area.
Experience in electronic circuit assembly.
