Overview:

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an opening for a Sales Representative in our Audio Video and Security Channel within Mexico territory.

You would be a key part of the residential sales team in this position.

A successful Sales Representative will grow sales by building relationships with key Distributors and Lighting, Audio, Video, and Security Integrators by planning and executing business plans that include nurturing the Lutron PRO program, implementing promotions, coordinating efforts to promote Lutron Solutions, and generating demand for the channel.

You will leverage your strong relationships to partner with our customers to grow Lutron's business and ensure that Lutron is the partner of choice in the lighting control category.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive Lutron High-End residential systems sales growth to meet yearly targets.
  • Develop Distributor's Champions and salespeople.
  • Plan Joint sales calls with AVS distributors to attend Lutron PROs and integrators, and identify new prospects.
  • Train clients on the use of Lutron etools and successfully register activities and opportunities in SFDC.
  • Specify Lutron solutions with residential architects, interior designers, lighting designers, builders, and developers. Special focus on MDU developments
  • Develop strategic territory plans that generate new business and drive incremental sales at existing accounts.
  • Be a technical expert on all Lutron products and solutions in the High-End residential portfolio.
  • Stay current with market trends and anticipate account needs and opportunities
  • Actively participate and represent Lutron in associations like CEDIA, and participate in tradeshows, fairs, and industry events.
  • Conduct training sessions on solutions, products, and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Lighting, custom AV, or related Industry
  • Minimum 3 years of proven sales track record with experience in account management and business development
  • English prolific, the job requires excellent Spoken and Written skills
  • Bachelor's degree is essential (Engineer or Technical degrees will be appreciated)
  • Must have good communication skills, be goaloriented, have a good work ethic, and be a team player
  • Ability to work independently, plan and organize your time effectively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required
  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time
