Job description

Role purpose
To lead the Production Orders team

Main Activities

Ensure the Production Orders team delivers responses to authority requests on a professional and timely manner.
Ensure the Production Orders team coordinates with other relevant areas to effectively implement authority instructions, such as the freezing of accounts of individuals or entities included in the FIU ́s List of Blocked Persons.
Work with Group and Mexico teams to constantly improve processes and procedures that allow the Production Orders team to improve its capacity to address authority requests for information, documentation, and other actions.
Look for efficiencies across the endtoend process, in the Production Order team as well as in other teams that support requests issued by authorities. For example, automation, reporting and identification of emerging risks.
Ensure a highlevel standard in responses provided to authorities by keeping Quality Assurance metrics above expected %.
Work together with other teams that receive other types of formal orders such as the Legal team in mitigating reputational, operational, legal, and regulatory risks.
Have a strong communication with the National Banking and Securities Commission aiming to ensure a comprehensive knowledge about said authority's expectations.
Be aware of regulatory changes and work with Financial Crime Subject Matter Experts to assess and implement suitable controls for adhering HSBC processes.
Escalate to the Compliance Officer and relevant stakeholders and risk owners, high impact cases where a policy or regulatory breach may arise.
