Job DetailsJob Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between customers and the company's sales engineers, reliability engineers, customer service, and manufacturing.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems at our customers' sites and inhouse
  • Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals
  • Cost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments
  • Technical and commercial preparation of offers
  • Order acceptance, review, and preparation (Complete Order)
  • Evaluate reports and data to support recommendations for improvement, replacement, or repair of equipment.
  • Present clear verbal and written technical explanations to customers, tailoring content, and style to the audience.
  • Provide technical guidance about the successful installation and operation of our products, ensuring that standardized installation procedures are followed.
  • Maintain data regarding customers' equipment and parts inventories, responding with appropriate actions regarding inventory reduction and consolidation.
  • Maintain data in engineering systems; process engineering change notices; submit corrective action reports; and maintain current, accurate, and organized files.
Education and


Required Skills:


  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3 years of Mechanical/Hydraulic Engineering
  • Experience with the specification and quoting of centrifugal firefight pump packages including diesel or electric motors, tanks, pressure vessels
  • Experience with the specification of vertical turbine pumps for municipalities and general industry
  • Must understand pump curves, calculation of NPSH, vibration, lubrication, etc
  • Needs also to be capable of industry sales search tool assessment to develop new opportunities if needed
