    Payroll Specialist

    Location: Mexico City (Hybrid)

    How You Will Make a Difference

  • Manage day-to-day activities of Mexico payroll within the global HR service center.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational effectiveness of Mexico payroll vendor(s)
  • Act as subject matter expert to review, design, and document processes for Mexico.
  • Proactively stay up-to-date on trends and developments within payroll space, constantly researching and implementing best practices as appropriate; Work to enhance the capability of self.

  • Effectively manage the payroll calendar for the delivery of changes, processes, authorizations, etc.
  • Record personnel incidents and send to payroll vendor.
  • Validate the Correct application of the payroll changes; validate the payroll against the previous period.
  • Validate taxes and social security
  • Follow the accounting policies corresponding to the payment of the payroll, IMSS and provisions.
  • Generate the payment of additional benefits such as annual incentives or child birth assistance.
  • Prepare the Record Keeping Information of the Savings fund (Generation of layouts, contributions, terminations, disbursements).
  • Employee Service.
  • Verify that the payroll dispersions have been approved with the Payment schedule.
  • Validate the base salary for Social security (IMSS).
  • Validate proper employee transactions in the IDSE (Hiring, terminations and salary modifications).
  • Manage SUA, generate and validate the payment of worker-employer dues.
  • Process and review special payrolls (STI bonuses, profit sharing, Etc.).
  • Calculation of compensation and settlements.
  • Attention and preparation of information for audits.

  • Bachelor degree in Administration / Accounting
  • Experience in the area: 2 years
  • Excel Intermediate
