    As Product Experience Researchers (Sensory and Consumer Insights), we represent the voice of the consumer within IFF and help to drive regional sales by implementing research designs and effectively managing resources to ensure we create optimal products people love.

    IFF is looking for a Product Experience Associate Researcher to be in charge of the expert sensory panel on site, to follow the panel results, to process and preset the data, and to ensure the panel is operational.

    You will assist senior team members in carrying out additional consumer research both quantitative and qualitative.

    To be successful in this position, you will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science, Sensory Science, Psychology or a related degree with 1+ years experience in panel leading or sensory/consumeer test areas.


    Job Requirements


    • Get direction from Product Experience researchers or Manager and follows through on project related activities.
    • Training, daily functioning and maintenance (leave, timesheets, laboratory materials) of Descriptive Panel and Difference Panel.
    • Collect, analyze and interpret IFF's Trained Descriptive Panel data to provide insightful knowledge for strategic, marketing, commercial and technical decision-making.
    • Conduct qualitative and quantitative consumer studies with supervision and can analyze, report findings, make recommendations and describe next steps with minimal supervision.
    • Present sensory research findings and consumer insights, sensory training to internal & external customers.
    • Share knowledge and findings with team members.
    Required Skills


    • Minimum entry level is a BS degree in Food Science & or Sensory Science, Psychology or related degree
    • Effective team player,
    • Sound project planning skills,
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
    • Works autonomously on given tasks with minimal reviews by manager,
    • Basic skills in Sensory and Consumer Insights methodologies and data analysis: be at ease with Compusense (or similar acquisition software), XLSTAT, PowerPoint
    Required Experience


    • Minimum experience of 3 years in in panel leading or sensory or consumer test areas
